VIDEO : Dolph Lundgren Is Down To Play 'Cable' In Deadpool Sequel

Dolph Lundgren knows he looks a lot like the Deadpool villain, "Cable" and he told The Nerdist" he wants to play the bad guy. Lundgren is no stranger to Marvel films after starring as The Punisher in the 1989 film. It seems only fitting that he get the chance to make up for that horrible film. Lundgren even has the blessing of "Deadpool" hilmself. If you didn't watch the coda scene after the ending credits here is what Deadpool had to say about "Cable" and Lundgren. "In the sequel, we're gonna have Cable. Amazing character," Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) shared. "Bionic arm, time travel. We have no idea who we're gonna cast yet but it could be anybody. We just need a big guy with a flat top. Could be Mel Gibson, Dolph Lundgren, Keira Knightley, she's got range, who knows? Lundgren has his fingers crossed that Mel Gibson and Keira Knightley will be unavailable to be cast in the sequel.
