Many are appalled at the way director Woody Allen seems to be getting away with not confronting the rape allegations put forth by his adoptive daughter Dylan O'Sullivan. Not only has Allen not made any substantial comments but the people who work around him are defending him. However, people have had enough and are beginning to demand action be taken. At the opening ceremony for the Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday night, actor and comedian Laurent Lafitte shocked the audience when he said about Allen, "It?s very nice that you?ve been shooting so many movies in Europe, even if you are not being convicted for rape in the U.S.? The crowd gasped, but it needed to be said.
