VIDEO : Jodie Foster Says Film Industry is 'Scared'

Jodie Foster talked about the state of the film industry Thursday at the Cannes film festival as part of an event titled "Women in Motion." In her speech, Foster said that Hollywood is, "scared, period" and studio execs pick familiar faces to helm movies out of that fear. She also said of women joining film sets, ''Suddenly it felt more like a family, and movie sets became healthier." Foster is at the festival with her new film Money Monster. She is one of only two female directors premiering major studio releases this year.
