VIDEO : 'Thor: Ragnarok' Director Taika Waititi Asks Fellow Marvel Directors for Explosion Advice

Director Taiki Waititi, who will be at the helm for the Marvel Cinematic Universe's 'Thor: Ragnarok,' has had a playful and likely nervous time stepping up to the plate to direct such a highly anticipated film. He recently sent out a tweet asking fellow Marvel movie directors James Gunn and Peyton Reed: "Hey guys. When you're making one of these big movies, how many explosions are you supposed to put in? I have one." Reed replied, "Hmm. That's not gonna cut it, Taika. Check your contract. Marvel minimum is 42 onscreen explosions. Required!" Gunn, practicing a more grim form of sarcasm, replied, "12. Add 11 school buses full of kids exploding & you?ll be good. People love that in superhero movies."
