At Broadcast Music,Inc Pop Awards, Taylor Swift received the first every ' Taylor Swift Award'. The awards celebrate the songwriters and publishers behind the year's popular pop songs. Swift?s special award acknowledged her talents, both creative and artistic. When accepting the award, the star stated "I'm really super relieved that BMI decided to give me the Taylor Swift Award. If they decided to give the Taylor Swift Award to someone else I would be kind of bummed about it".
