Fans checking out Captain America: Civil War probably did a double take when they saw a younger Robert Downey Jr in the film. That's because of some new virtual tech that Tony is demonstrating. Fans are able to see a Tony much younger than his present day self. The effect, which was created by Lola VFX Visual Effects Supervisor Trent Claus, was exquisitely detailed and required a lot of thought. Claus said "Every feature of the face and body needed to be addressed in some fashion.
