Michael Strahan's last day on Live! With Kelly and Michael will be Friday, May 13th. As the date quickly approaches, Kelly Ripa hopes to find a permanent replacement ASAP. Originally Strahan was going to stay on until September, but plans changed. Good Morning America wants to transition Strahan onto the show throughout the summer so that when he begins full-time in September audiences will be more acquainted with him. Ripa told People magazine that she wants to find her co-host during the summer hiatus. "If we're going to have this list narrowed down at least to a manageable size by the fall, we need to start now,'" she said. It has been rumored that Anderson Cooper may become the replacement.
