At one point, the tension between Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan was so thick on their morning talk show that it couldn't be cut with a knife. It all started when word got out that Strahan would be leaving the show later this fall to move to Good Morning America without Ripa's notice. However, in a recent cover story with People magazine, Ripa seems to have cooled down, stating, "I think that requires a certain amount of empathy on a level. When you're dealing with big business, it's easy to forget that you're dealing with people and that people have feelings," Ripa says. "It's easy to just look at it like a business unit, a unit, a unit."
