Tom Hanks and Ron Howard are re-teaming for 'Inferno', a new flick based on the best-selling mystery-detective series created by American novelist Dan Brown. Hanks plays Harvard religious iconography and symbology professor Robert Langdon. Following on the heels of the two prior entries in the Langdon conspiracy-thriller movie franchise (including The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons), Ron Howard will be on board once more to direct the third film in the blockbuster series, with David Koepp back as the screenwriter.
