Turns out Robert Downey Jr. doesn't think very highly of himself as an actor.
During an appearance on The Tonight Show, the actor was asked if there were any scenes that he just didn't feel comfortable in, or needed another take on in the Iron Man suit. Downey Jr. then lets Fallon in on the secret to his success.
The Iron Man Actor told Fallon that he isn't a huge fan of scenes that make him do things on cue, for example opening a door and acting surprised to see someone on the other side.
Then it was time to put Fallon through his paces as an actor and it had hilarious results. It would be a struggle for any actor to give off the appropriate emotions during a car chase while also being gassy, so I give Fallon some credit for doing his best.
