After online speculation on the social media site, tumblr, Haynes found himself in headlines with questions on his sexuality. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the 27 year old Haynes explained that he never publicly came out, but was always out to his family and friends. After he publicly came out, Haynes spent some time in rehab for anxiety.
