Jay Z was conspicuously missing from Beyonce's side at the the high fashion, MET Gala this year and Eonline found out why. It wasn't because he was with "Becky with the good hair" the controversial and Jay-Z condemning lyric from Beyonce's viral video album, Lemonade. Jay-Z just didn't want to take the attention away from her. A source close to the couple said they are not fighting but he just thought it would be a "better look" if she came alone to promote the new album and all of the "hype that comes with it". Beyonce went stag but she hung out with her sister Solange Knowles and her sister's husband and from what the source said, she appeared to have a good time. "
