Actor Karl Urban is probably best known for playing Dr. McCoy in the new Star Trek films, but to many sci-fi fans he?ll always be Judge Dredd. The 2012 Dredd movie which starred Urban originally appeared to be a one-off story, but Urban himself has recently said that he?d love to get a Dredd series going on Amazon or Netflix. The actor was at the Calgary Expo convention last weekend, and confirmed that talks are now indeed already taking place to make the Dredd series a reality. The response has been very positive with more than 200,000 signatures on a petition in support of the series.
