Model and actress Kate Upton revealed to E! News shortly before the 2016 Met Gala on Monday that she and boyfriend Justin Verlander were engaged. The Detroit Tigers star and Sports Illustrated model got the rumor mill really swirling when they were spotted on vacation together in St. Thomas in early January 2013. They reportedly then broke up in July of that year but reunited in 2014 after being spotted at a hockey game together in May. Upton revealed to E! News on Monday, "I'm really excited, he asked me right before season started so we've been keeping it on the down low for quite a while."
