May 2 is the anniversary since dreadful events ended the Second Wizarding War in Harry Potter, so author J.K. Rowling payed tribute by apologizing for killing a much-loved character: Remus Lupin. The famed author posted an apology on Twitter, saying: "Once again, it's the anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts so, as promised, I shall [apologize] for a death. This year: Remus Lupin.? Rowling also explained her reasoning for killing Lupin, but it probably won?t subdue readers' emotions about the loss. Rowling also added: "Arthur lived, so Lupin had to die. I'm sorry. I didn't enjoy doing it.?
