COURTENEY COX will appear in her first U.K. set show in a new ITV comedy.
The 51-year-old actress is most famous for her role as Monica Geller in hit TV show ?Friends.? But according to The Sun newspaper, Courteney is set to make a move across the Atlantic for the new series, which has a working title of ?Truthing.?
The show will see Courteney star as the American leader of a holistic healing retreat and will mark the star?s first appearance in a television show set in the U.K. Her most successful venture since Friends though has been ?Cougar Town,? in which she played single mother Jules Cobb. The show, which also starred Busy Philipps, ran from 2009 to 2015 and came to an end after 102 episodes. Following the end of the series, Courteney vowed to find herself another show which is successful enough to reach 100 episodes, telling Canada?s Metro newspaper last year: ?I want to do it one more time. I don?t have one, but I?m going to find one.?
