Today, Spanish actress Penelope Cruz turns 42. Cruz may be best-known for her breakout performance in 2001's Vanilla Sky which she starred in opposite Tom Cruise. Some may remember, the two had a showmance and were dubbed Cruz and Cruise for a time. Cruz has also had a successful modeling career, appearing in ad campaigns for Ralph Lauren and L'Oreal. In 2010 she married fellow Spaniard actor, Javier Bardem. The couple have two children together.
