Eva Mendes and her family are mourning the death of her older brother Carlos Mendez, who died from cancer on April 17. He was 53. The famous actress celebrated her late brother?s life with her family at the Church of the Recessional in Glendale, California, on Tuesday, according to social media posts from the family. Carlos had been diagnosed with throat cancer about two years ago. On April 1, Eva shared an Instagram photo of herself with Carlos from the ?Hollywood Stands Up to Cancer? event last January.
