During the UK premiere of 'Captain America: Civil War,' Tom Holland spoke in an interview about his approach to the character of Spider-Man, given that this is now the third big studio adaptation of the comic book phenomenon in a decade. He responded, "It was very difficult to not obviously copy what Andrew [Garfield] and Tobey [Maguire] had done, because what they did was brilliant.
