Chris Evans, star of Captain America: Civil War, initially turned down the role of Captain America. In fact, he turned it down more than once. Evans was reluctant to sign on for 9 movies and later find out in the middle that he wasn't happy. Now that his Marvel contract is nearing completion, is he open to re-upping it? In the comics, Steve Roger's Captain America passes the torch on to another. Evans doesn't know what the studio's plans for the character are, but says "whatever the character needs, whatever Marvel needs for that arc, I'm willing to do."
