Kelly Ripa has been on a boycott of her ABC show, Live!, after learning that her co-host Michael Strahan will be leaving to join Good Morning American in September. Ripa did not learn of his departure until right before it was formally announced, reportedly calling the move a betrayal. Ripa released a memo, announcing her return, which said ?I wanted to thank you all for giving me the time to process this new information. Your kindness, support, and love has overwhelmed me. We are a family and I look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday morning.? Ripa has hosted Live! since 2001, Strahan joined her in 2012.
