2012's Dredd, starring Karl Urban as Mega-City One's top enforcer, Judge Dredd, was beloved by both critics and audiences, but performed poorly at the worldwide box office.
Against the speculations of the film's screenwriter, Alex Garland, fans still held out hope that a sequel would come to fruition. As of yet, their prayers have gone unanswered, until talks of a Dredd television show came up.
Star Karl Urban responded on Twitter to a petition for the show, saying, "Dredd 2: I'd do it!! Netflix or Amazon, There's a gold mine of Awesome Mega city 1 stories!"
Stay true, Dredd fans. Comic book adaptations may yet be brought to justice.
