VIDEO : The Rock Confirms: Pamela Anderson In New Baywatch Movie

In the current age of TV revivals like The X-Files and Fuller House, one practice not being undertaken nearly as often as it used to is rebooting a successful small-screen series for theaters. Yet, that?s exactly what producer/star Dwayne ? The Rock? Johnson is doing with Baywatch, a feature film revamp of the classic 1990s show that has been cited by various sources as pulling in over 1 billion global viewers per week in its heyday. Oddly enough though, while the Baywatch movie features high-profile actors like Johnson, Zac Efron, and Alexandra Daddario in leading roles, there has been surprisingly little announced involvement from members of the original TV show?s cast. Johnson has taken to Instagram to reveal that Anderson will in fact be a part of the upcoming movie. Baywatch opens in theaters on May 19, 2017.
