Adele has been named Britain's richest ever female musician. The Hello hitmaker is worth a staggering £85m after adding a whopping £35m to her fortune this year, cementing her place at the top of The Sunday Times Rich List' 10 Richest Young Musicians in Britain and Ireland in 2016'. The singer, who placed 43 in last year's list, has rocketed up ahead of the likes of Sir Cliff Richard, Gary Barlow and Kylie Minogue.
