In 2014, it was reported that Tina Fey and her production company, Little Stranger, were producing a sequel to Hocus Pocus. Other sources say, Fey was working on a movie that has to do with witch craft but is unrelated to the 1993 film. When Fey was asked about the project, she said there is a script being made but it's not exactly a remake. The original film starred Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy .
