On Tuesday, Tom Hanks was on hand to cut the ribbon for the opening of the Tom Hanks Center for Motion Pictures at the Wright State University located in Fairborn, Ohio. Hanks didn't matriculate from Wright State but he does co chair a $150 fundraising campaign with Amanda Wright Lane the grandniece of aviation legends, Orville and Wilbur Wright. Hanks stated, "It doesn't matter where a student goes to college. It matters how hard you work. I hope this building spurs the students who come here.
