Los Angeles - Jason Statham will fight a prehistoric shark in his latest movie. The 48-year-old actor is in talks to take on the lead role in Meg, the big-screen adaptation of Steve Alten's science fiction novel MEG: A Novel of Deep Terror. It tells the story of the attempts to kill a Megalodon, one of the largest and most powerful predators in history and previously believed to be extinct, which has been killing swimmers along the coast of China.
