Ronnie Spector, the onetime leader of the Ronettes, told Rolling Stone that she loves Adele. "She's like me," the singer said. "She's heavyset; she doesn't care." Spector, who just recently released a new LP titled "English Heart" says that when she first heard Adele she thought, "Now that's good." Spector likes that Adele isn't interested in gimmicks and focuses solely on her voice. She says that it's reminiscent of what shows were like in the Sixties, adding that there aren't many artists today that she likes, stating, "It's so weird today. That's why I wanted my album to be simple. I wanted it to be so they could hear my voice, hear my feelings."
