Hardcore fans of 'The Walking Dead' who have also read the source material comic books have questioned why Jeffrey Dean Morgan's character Negan has a beard in the TV show, which is not present in his initial incarnation. While on 'The Talking Dead,' Morgan revealed that it was a forced decision, stating, "Kirkman and Scott, they both wanted me to shave my beard, but I was in the middle of doing a job [on The Good Wife] when I came down to Atlanta to shoot that scene. Literally in the middle of an episode so I couldn't just shave it. I think we'd shot the end of the episode."
