When County Music legend Dolly Parton sang a medley of her greatest hits with pop star Katy Perry at the ACM Awards a few weeks ago, fans were skeptical about whether Parton had actually wanted to let the "California Girls" singer share the stage with her. But in a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Parton confirmed that she actually loved working with Katy Perry. She added that she was able to get bragging rights to some of her younger relative for working with the singer, and felt Perry was open and honest as an artist. Dolly also shared that she and Perry genuinely connected over the fact that both women grew up in religious families.
