Spike TV will be taking on a new series this season called 'The Mist,' an onscreen adaptation of the Steven King novel. Spike TV ordered the adaptation to pilot two months ago and loved the script so much that they forwent a pilot order and decided to go straight to series! The Hollywood Reporter learned that the new series will consist of 10 dramatic episodes.
