Denzel Washington is headed back to the big screen where he will star and direct the new movie 'Fences.' Denzel has been a long time fan of the Tony Award and Pultizer Prize winning play written by August Wilson. Filming will begin in Pittsburgh later this month with Paramount Pictures. Co-starring with Denzel in the film is Viola Davis. The story follows the life of a once promising baseball player, Troy, who finds himself working as a garbage collector in Pittsburgh at the age of 50, struggling to provide for his family along with trying desperately to keep his family together. Neither Denzel nor Viola are strangers to this heartbreaking tale as both actors were awarded Tony Awards for their performances in the 2010 Broadway production of 'Fences.'
