Katy Perry's Los Angeles dream home just happened to also be the home of the retired nuns at Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. But Perry reached a deal with the Archdiocese of Los Angeles to buy the property for $14.5 million and was on her way to living in a converted convent. But the nuns who lived on the property thought they had the right to sell the property instead of the Archdiocese, so the deal went to court. And this week a Los Angeles Judge has ruled that the Archdiocese had the authority to sell the property. So while the Archdiocese and Perry were happy with the ruling, the nun's attorney has said that this is only the beginning of their legal battle and that he plans to appeal the ruling.
