Actor Benedict Cumberbatch has been tapped to voice the Grinch in Illumination?s new retelling of the classic Dr. Seuss children?s book ?The Grinch that Stole Christmas.? Universal announced the casting at their 2016 CinemaCon presentation on Wednesday night. The movie will be directed by Pete Candeland and Yarrow Cheney. The animated feature will reportedly release on November 10, 2017. Cumberbatch is represented by UTA, Conway van Gelder Grant, and Robert Offer and Shelby Weiser.
