Fans are going ecstatic after Dan Aykroyd confirmed that he was in fact making a cameo in the new Ghostbusters reboot. The production company has now released photos of Akroyd on set. Aykroyd joins the new all female Ghostbuster gang, Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones for his scene. According to the film?s director, Paul Feig, the film is not a continuation of the two original films. It is actually a new take on the story with it?s own base and originality.
