Freeform is moving ahead with 'Famous in Love.' Based on the Rebecca Serle novel, 'Famous in Love' follows ordinary college student Paige played by Bella Thorne as she gets her big break after auditioning for the starring role in a Hollywood blockbuster. She must now navigate her new star-studded life and undeniable chemistry with her two co-leads while discovering the highs and lows that come with being the new It Girl in town. Famous in Love comes as Freeform has been rebranded with a focus on what network president Tom Ascheim calls "becomers," which are individuals who are experiencing "firsts" like love and jobs in a bid to court older viewers.
