Dave Bautista is the latest to join the cast of the Blade Runner sequel.
The former wrestler and MMA fighter joins Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, and Robin Wright in the sci-fi project directed by Denis Villeneuve.
Bautista recently participated in Spectre, the latest James Bond film; he is also set to reprise his role as Drax in the next Guardians of the Galaxy.
With the new screenplay written for the sci-fi sequel to Blade Runner, principal photography for the film is scheduled to begin in July.
Warner Bros. will serve as the North American distributor with Sony Pictures releasing the flick internationally.
