VIDEO : Daisy Ridley's Advice for Young Actors: 'Perseverance Will Make Things Happen Ultimately'

In honor of the DVD release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the galaxy's most famous scavenger, Rey ? a.k.a. actress Daisy Ridley ? answered fan questions on Facebook about her experience with the film and how it changed her life. Ridley spoke on what she likes the most about her character, saying, "I like best that Rey is very hopeful. Even though she?s been alone for such a long time, and even though the journey is quite difficult, she just keeps going, and she?s just trying to do the right thing." The actress also gave advice to young actors trying to make it, saying, "Luck will make things potentially happen sooner, like they did for me. But perseverance will make things happen ultimately."
