Demi Lovato and Caitlyn Jenner are among the proud recipients of the 27th GLAAD Media Awards. The awards are for those who further GLAAD's goal of ensuring that the stories of the LBGT community are represented through social media. Demi Lovato was recognized for her acceptance of the LGBT community and her public support by sharing a personal story about her grandfather, who came out as gay in 1960 and the music video that was filmed for her son called 'Really Don't Care.' Caitlyn Jenner received her award for her reality show, 'I Am Cait,' which was recognized for an outstanding reality program. Jenner said she is sharing the award with Jazz Jennings, a transgender YouTube personality with her own show, 'I Am Jazz.'
