On his Facebook page, Director James Gunn showed off an unfinished frame from Guardians of the Galaxy. It shows the ragtag group of adventurers in a Last Supper-like setup. The artist involved with the film finished the frame and sent it to Gunn as a gift, but it isn't the only Christ-like reference the film made. In the comments, Gunn revealed yet another nod to Christ, after commenter Tim Clodfelter stated: "Groot can be his own cross!" Gunn has been teasing other easter eggs for Guardians of the Galaxy including a script that translates everything Groot says.
