The ?Jealous? singer explained that growing up as the son of a pastor came with pressure and scrutiny, which he equated to being the church?s ?First Family, in a Reddit AMA questionnaire on Thursday. Prior to the fame that came with the Jonas Brothers? success, Nick was blindsided with a commitment to chastity with the accompaniment of an accessory. Jonas wrote "There was a person in the church who at one point demanded that all the kids in the youth group put these purity rings on and make this commitment,? adding. ?So without a full understanding of what we were stepping into, we all made this commitment.? The singer said as he grew, gained some life experience and developed his own views and opinions as it relates to faith, as it relates to sex, and everything.
