In a video interview with IGN at WonderCon 2016, former Superman and current Atom, Brandon Routh weighed in on the modern-day Superman of the DC Comics Cinematic Universe. The Superman Returns star, who now plays his second DC hero on Legends of Tomorrow on The CW, hasn't seen Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice yet, but weighed in anyhow. "For me, Superman is always based out of Christopher Reeve's Superman. The charming, positive quality about Superman, the uplifting quality that allows us to see the better side of our own humanity, and see that reflected: the greatness that we all have within us. But you know, everybody has multiple sides to their character; we're not all exactly the same every day, So it's interesting to see that in our superheroes as well, I suppose."
