Brandon Routh, the actor who portrayed Superman in his last big studio adaptation 'Superman Returns,' recently gave an interview with IGN wherein he offered his opinion on director Zack Snyder's take on the superhero, stating, "For me, Superman is always based out of Christopher Reeve's Superman. The charming, positive quality about Superman, the uplifting quality that allows us to see the better side of our own humanity, and see that reflected: the greatness that we all have within us. That's the part of Superman that I like to see most. But you know, everybody has multiple sides to their character; we're not all exactly the same every day. So it's interesting to see that in our superheroes as well, I suppose."
