Should Warner's give fans a solo Batman flick with Ben Affleck? There are five hundred million reasons they should. In 2013, it was announced that Ben Affleck would portray the next big screen Dark Knight in Zack Snyder?s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice,. The Internet went into a frenzy. Casting Affleck was the first of many controversies the film would go on to generate. Many fans concerned that Affleck was the wrong choice. After all, he had tried to play a superhero once in Daredevil, and that didn?t turn out so well. But, the film was a massive hit and fans seem to have come around. Affleck will play Batman in three other DC universe movies, a record for any actor playing Batman. A solo film, however, will allow fans to fully embrace Affleck as the Dark Knight and that acceptance could be huge at the box office. A solo Affleck Batman is scheduled for release in 2020.
