Brandy has sued her label Chameleon Entertainment Group. The lawsuit is for allegedly blocking her from recording new music . The R&B singer claimed that the label has kept her from recording new material in the last four years. According to the lawsuit, Brandy has dissolved her contract with Chameleon. However she wants a judge's ruling that it is void. Brandy signed with Chameleon in 2011.
