Woody Allen Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg star in the story of a young couple in 1930s Hollywood. Woody Allen is going to Cannes. Allen's latest film, Cafe Society, will open the 69th Cannes International Film Festival on May 11 in an out of competition slot. Eisenberg plays a young man who arrives in Hollywood during the 1930s hoping to work in the film industry who finds himself swept up in the vibrant cafe society that defined the spirit of the age. This will be Allen's 14th film to screen in Cannes, all out of competition.
