Zayn Malik isn?t throwing shade at One Direction, he?s throwing shade at the boy band machine. he revealed that he and the rest of One Direction were told how look, down to the slightest detail. That included (not) coloring his hair and (not) having a beard. He commented, ?There were certain restrictions in terms of the way that we could come outside of that young teen boy look. Mainly my beard, honestly. I wasn?t allowed to keep it.
