VIDEO : Zayn Malik Says John Lennon And Beatles Were Big Influence On New Album

For his first solo project, Zayn Malik used the Beatles for inspiration. The 23-year-old spoke with NME recently where he revealed that a ballad off his forthcoming album, ?Fool for You,? was heavily influenced by the iconic foursome's music, especially one song in particular. Zayn said, ?I was listening to a lot of John Lennon the week I got that loop,? adding ?And there was this one song I got addicted to, with Indian music at the front of it, sitar, and then it becomes, like, another song,? He was describing the Beatles? song ?Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.?
Zayn?s first album arrives everywhere tomorrow.
