Leonardo DiCaprio made his first visit to Tokyo in two years to promote the Japanese opening of The Revenant. DiCaprio won his first Oscar for Best Actor in February for his performance in The Revenant. Fans were eager to greet Dicaprio and some even dressed in bear costumes, referencing his gruesome fight with a bear in the film. DiCaprio told Japanese audiences that he was ?privileged to be a part of cinema history" and "it was a huge honor" to be a recipient of an Oscar at the Academy Awards.
