Chloe Grace Moretz acknowledged that she did indeed receive an invitation from Taylor Swift to be a part of her squad and has confirmed that the two have met before. Moretz has held back on explaining why she refused to join Swift's squad, but in more general terms, she told Complex Magazine that she thinks squads "appropriate exclusivity," and that they are essentially "cliques." Moretz does still follow Swift on Twitter and says that Swift is a "very talented person."
